Detroit River Walleye Charters
Walleye fishing on the Detroit River is like no other! The best fishing is between late March and early May, when the fish are coming up the river from Lake Erie. Charters run from the last weekend in March through the first weekend in May.
Call now to book your charter, or use the booking links below to view available dates on the calendar. Charters depart from either Grosse Ile, or Trenton, Michigan. Captain Brian will contact you the day before your charter to let you know which launch you will be departing from.
Half Day – 6 hours or limit of fish
Half day charters are 6 hours from dock to dock, or until we reach our limit of fish. Morning or afternoon charters are available. Morning trips start at 6 a.m. Afternoon trips start at 2 p.m.
$500 per trip. Includes up to 4 people.
Full Day – 8 hours
You can also book for a full day charter. When you book a full day charter, we stay on the water for the entire 8 hours. If we reach limits on walleye, we will continue to fish to upgrade the size of fish, or may target other species to make a full fun day of fishing.
$700 per trip. Includes up to 4 people.

You will need to purchase valid fishing licenses for the dates of your charter. A Michigan fishing license is required for those 17 or older. The river encompasses both U.S. and Canadian waters, so a Canadian fishing license is recommended for the most optimal fishing experience.
